Información para viajar con menores de edad

Con el objetivo de disminuir la vulnerabilidad de los menores como posibles víctimas de redes de trata de personas o intentos de sustracciones, el Ministerio de Transporte de la Nación y la CNRT implementaron una nueva normativa (Resolución SGT 43/2016 y Resolución CNRT 1025/2016) que regula las autorizaciones de viaje para menores de edad que se trasladen en el transporte interjurisdiccional de pasajeros.

¿Los menores de edad abonan pasaje?

Los niños menores de 5 (cinco) años (comprobados mediante la presentación del DNI) no pagan pasaje. Sí deben abonar un seguro, pero no tiene derecho a ocupar butaca como tampoco a reclamar por servicio a bordo.

Leer atentamente la regulación:

•  Si el menor tiene menos de 6 años podrá viajar únicamente acompañado por un Representante Legal o Tercero Autorizado. 
• Los menores de entre 6 y 12 años, inclusive, deberán viajar acompañados por un Representante Legal, Tercero Autorizado o utilizando el servicio de Menor no Acompañado que podrán brindar las empresas. 
• Los que tienen entre 13 y 17 años podrán viajar acompañados o solos, contando con las autorizaciones requeridas.

¿Cómo se tramitan las autorizaciones de viaje?

Las autorizaciones pueden tramitarse de dos maneras:

• PRESENCIAL: Se podrán realizar de manera Presencial en las boleterías de las empresas, completando el formulario que existe para tal fin. El formulario puede ser descargado aquí(*).
• PREVIA: Se podrá realizar la autorización a través de: Escribanos, Juez competente, Autoridad competente del Registro Civil y Capacidad de las Personas, Justicia de Paz y otras Autoridades Administrativas y Judiciales.
• (*) Si usted realiza la Autorización en forma presencial no necesita ningún otro tipo de autorización más que el formulario que figura en esta página.

¿Qué documentación es necesaria para acreditar el vínculo filiatorio?

• DNI / PASAPORTE DEL MENOR
• DNI DEL REPRESENTANTE LEGAL
• LIBRETA DE MATRIMONIO CON NACIMIENTO ASENTADO O PARTIDA DE NACIMIENTO O ACTA DE NACIMIENTO O TESTIMONIO JUDICIAL DE ADOPCIÓN
• EL VÍNCULO PODRÁ SER ACREDITADO MEDIANTE EL DNI DEL MENOR, SIEMPRE QUE ÉSTE CONTENGA EL NOMBRE DE SUS REPRESENTANTES LEGALES.
•  SI VIAJA CON UN TERCERO, DNI DE LA PERSONA RESPONSABLE DEL MENOR DURANTE EL VIAJE Y AUTORIZACIÓN CORRESPONDIENTE.
• SE DEBE CONTAR CON ORIGINAL Y FOTOCOPIA DE TODA LA DOCUMENTACIÓN PRESENTADA

Information for traveling with minors 

In order to reduce the vulnerability of minors as possible victims of human trafficking networks or attempted abductions, the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation and the CNRT implemented a new regulation (Resolution SGT 43/2016 and Resolution CNRT 1025/2016 ) that regulates travel authorizations for minors who travel in interjurisdictional passenger transport.

Do minors pay a ticket?

Children under 5 (five) years old (verified by presenting their DNI) do not pay a ticket. Yes, they must pay for insurance, but they do not have the right to occupy a seat or to claim for service on board.

Read the regulation carefully:

• If the minor is less than 6 years old, he or she may travel only accompanied by a Legal Representative or Authorized Third Party.
• Minors between 6 and 12 years old, inclusive, must travel accompanied by a Legal Representative,
• Authorized Third Party or using the Unaccompanied Minor service that companies may provide.
• Those between the ages of 13 and 17 may travel accompanied or alone, with the required authorizations.

How are travel authorizations processed?

Authorizations can be processed in two ways:

• IN-HOUSE: They can be done in person at the box office of the companies, by completing the form that exists for this purpose. The form can be downloaded here (*).
• PRIOR: Authorization may be made through: Notaries, competent Judge, Competent Authority of the Civil Registry and Capacity of People, Justice of the Peace and other Administrative and Judicial Authorities.
• (*) If you carry out the Authorization in person, you do not need any other type of authorization other than the form that appears on this page.

What documentation is necessary to prove the filial bond?

• ID / PASSPORT OF THE MINOR
• ID OF THE LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE
• MARRIAGE BOOK WITH REGISTERED BIRTH OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR ADOPTION JUDICIAL TESTIMONY
• THE LINK MAY BE ACCREDITED THROUGH THE MINOR'S ID, PROVIDED THAT IT CONTAINS THE NAME OF THEIR LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES.
